Driving directions:
You will probably arrive in Keflavík airport, there you will have to take a cab, rent a car or take the bus to Reykjavík. Then you drive out of Reykjavík to the NORTH the
way to Akranes and Borgarnes, you go past Mosfellsbær and Kjalarnes, into a tunnel (the tunnel is aproximetly 20 kilometers from Reykjavík) you go through the tunnel, pay the toll and then drive aproximetly 15 kilometers, until you see a sign that says Hvalfjörður, there you taka a right turn into the fjord and drive on for 11,7 km. by then you should see a big RED house on the left, up in the hill. There you take a left and voíla, you have arrived to Hotel Glymur.
If you have time then you can skip the tunnels and drive the fjord. You take a right about 1 km. before you enter the tunnel on Reykjavíks side where it says Hvalfjörður then you drive on for about 50 kilometers, you drive past the old whale station
where the brittish army base was once, you drives past a shop
named Ferstikla, and just 1 kilometer later you take a right to the
hotel and again, you have arrived to Hotel Glymur.
